July 26, 2009, David Teak with the national campaign of Barack Obama began the grass roots organization of the Barack Obama for President campaign. He is responsible for northwest Florida. Door to door activism is one large part of their effort - to identify and engage supporters of Barack Obama and build a grass roots movement to take back the American Government for the people. This event was held at the Peoples First building in Panama City at 9:30. This was the 2nd meeting to rally around Barack in Bay County and there were almost twice as many people there as there were at the first event. Mr. Teak stressed the importance of Florida's electoral votes in the upcoming election. The crowd was engaged, energetic and excited to be part of the generational change in the American Political Landscape.

Join us Saturday, August 23, 2008, at the Boardwalk Beach Resort Pavillion from 5:30 - 10:00 p.m. for the Jefferson Jackson Luau. Tickets are $50 or two for $75. Wear a colorful shirt and come have some fun--

Thanks to everyone who turned out for the Lynn Haven 4th of July parade, and to do voter registration at the PC marina. Our turnout at the parade was amazing. The McCain contingent had a billboard truck and a couple of people, while we had an estimated 60-70 people, including former U.S. Sen. Bob Graham, marching in Sen. Obama's behalf. It was a great day. Let's keep the momentum going.

Again, thanks for your enthusiasm, and your willingness to get out, even on a blazing, humid July morning, to show your support for Sen. Obama. Change is coming!

Lots of new faces mixed in with traditional Democratic Party Members at this first Bay County Democrats Rally for Barack Obama. Issues about Barack Obama's positions and votes in the Senate were discussed as well as how to counter criticism of Barack from those that are not yet supporting his revolutionary run for President of the United States.
